The London View Management Framework, published in 2007, reduced the historic viewing corridor of St Paul's Cathedral from Richmond Park. What plans does the Mayor have to restore the original protection for this strategic view, as set out in Regional Planning Guidance (RPG) 3a, 1991? In the meantime, would the Mayor consider rejecting any planning application under his discretion that falls within this original strategic viewing corridor?

Further to your answer to my question 531/2008 please can you supply the cost/benefit analysis figures for the solar panels on City Hall and the solar panel/wind turbine scheme at Palestra, both of which are unlikely to generate enough electricity in their entire lifetimes to even pay back the installation costs. How do you judge that such uneconomic projects promote London's economic development?
