Speaking of your Economic Development Strategy in response to Written Question No: 3738/2010 you stated that 'direct delivery budgets have always been relatively limited when set against the scale of the London economy'. Does this fact invalidate the need for the GLA to have a direct delivery budget for economic development and, if so, does this mean that, in terms of economic development, the GLA will be reduced to a 'toothless tiger'?
