I have been approached by a member of the public who is a taxi driver who has raised concerns about his name being published on a TfL website (Taxi Driver License Checker) without his permission. I understand that due to TfL receiving a number of complaints from taxi drivers, this service was suspended pending a further review. I understand that this service has caused considerable distress to a number of people, who are concerned about their own and their families safety due to this 'service'. Can the Mayor give an assurance that this service will not be resumed until consensus...
