Does your refusal to publish smog alerts on the GLA website place you in breach of your duty to 'promote improvements in the health of persons in Greater London' under the GLA Act (1999)? Why do you refuse to implement this relatively simple, cost-neutral, measure which would be of great benefit to those with existing respiratory problems, including the c.690,000 asthma sufferers in London?

Given that the number of airTEXT subscribers has increased by only 500 since the publication of your Air Quality Strategy (2010), it will take another 998 years before your aspiration to sign up a further 250,000 participants is met. What more will you do to provide air quality information and health advice to those affected by pollution episodes in the meantime?
