TfL approach to buskers

  • Reference: 2014/3449
  • Question by: Valerie Shawcross
  • Meeting date: 17 September 2014
Buskers tell me that TfL require them to submit their applications for licences to busk on TfL premises online by 1st September, however the online application process does not confirm that the application has been properly submitted. TfL are refusing to advise buskers if their applications have been successfully received or issue an acknowledgement. However they have also been told by TfL that late applications will not be entertained. Why are TfL not prepared to treat buskers with respect and consideration as small business people, given that for many busking is their entire livelihood?

Bus Data (1)

  • Reference: 2014/3444
  • Question by: Valerie Shawcross
  • Meeting date: 17 September 2014
TfL publish "bus stop arrivals" data on its website ( http://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/buses-performance-…) for the routes which happen to be operated by New Routemasters. Why is this and when are you planning to publish data for every single bus route in London?
