The Mayor talks about being Mayor for all Londoners, but in practice it appears to me that you need to be a paid up member of the Labour Party to be qualified to be a Deputy Mayor, even for Business. Does the Mayor seriously intend to govern for the many rather than the few?

Croydon Council Local Plan Consultation

Will you, Mr Mayor, agree to object to the Croydon Council Local Plan in the September consultation? There are major concerns with the content of the plan, to include downgrading of MOL at Shirley Oaks, some to Local Green Space but the majority left with no protection. In addition the downgrading of Croham Hurst & Purley Downs from greenbelt to MOL as well as downgrading of Sanderstead Plantation from greenbelt to Local Green Space.

At the 'Preventing Deaths in Police Care' conference in London, the Director of 'Black Mental Health UK', Matilda MacAttram, stated that it should not be up to the police to know whether someone coming into custody has a mental health condition. What steps could be put in place to support Metropolitan Police Officers so that they are made aware of and prepared for the event of a person with mental health issues being brought into custody?
