In the past, the GLA Group has disposed of public land in ways which are only accessible to larger developers or land traders. Some public authorities are experimenting with alternative disposal and procurement approaches, such as including community-led providers as joint partners, fixing land costs, and undertaking work such as due diligence and remediation to de-risk sites. Will you review the disposal processes used by the GLA Group to ensure that opportunities for community-led projects, self-build and small builders are fully explored?

A number of London councils are having legal difficulties in registering buildings that are wholly or partly occupied by property guardians as Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs) for the purposes of ensuring minimum health and safety standards for residents. Will you call for a clarification of the law relating to buildings that house property guardians, to ensure they are liable to licensing as HMOs?

Similar to the City Hall staff policy, will you encourage other employers across the GLA group and in other public services to offer their staff rental deposit loans to support key workers living in London?
