In MOPAC’s Quarterly Performance Report Quarter 1 2024/25 it says: “Stakeholder consultation on the draft outcomes framework for Safer Schools Officers was completed in Q1 as planned. Further work will now be taken forward to review the existing governance arrangements to ensure alignment with the new outcomes framework.” Could you tell me: a) who was involved in this consultation, and b) if this new outcomes framework will be published?

In a response letter to Caroline Russell AM dated 8 November 2023 the former CEO of MOPAC said: “The next Safer Schools Partnership Board is scheduled for Tuesday 14 November [2023]. MOPAC agrees that the terms of reference, membership and minutes should be published. Constituents have told me they have had difficulty getting a record of a stop after being stopped by the MPS using live facial recognition (LFR) technology (which is required, for example to explain lateness for work). Will you work with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to ensure that all people stopped as a result of LFR can access a record of their stop?

While there is no time limit on making a complaint to the police, survivors have been told by the Directorate of Legal Services that one of the ways the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is defending itself against the legal complaint is via time limitation. Do you believe it is just or appropriate for the MPS to use time limitation as a defence against legal claims?
