As confirmed in a report by the Evening Standard and on the bridge’s official website, Wandsworth Council has chosen the option linking Battersea Power Station on the south side to a landing point by Churchill Gardens Estate, west of Claverton Street, Pimlico, on the north side, which is vigorously opposed by residents and ward councillors on the Westminster side. Will you confirm that Transport for London will not support this scheme in the absence of agreement from residents?

I understand that you cannot comment on an ongoing investigation, however, following the atrocious footage which emerged online at the end of January of a man filming schoolchildren walking home in Tower Hamlets, how important is it that members of the public report footage such as this, or any form of hate crime they see posted online, to the police?

We have recently seen the Petitions Committee in parliament look into ‘online abuse and the experience of disabled people’. The committee advised that the Government must review the experience of disabled people when reporting crimes and giving evidence and that too many disabled people have not been treated seriously because frontline officers and staff do not understand disability. Are the Met Police working proactively to try and improve their practice in this area?
