Deaf and Disabled Londoners to tell Assembly about transport accessibility
What barriers do Deaf and Disabled people experience when using transport in London?
Tomorrow, the London Assembly Transport Committee will learn from 12 Deaf and Disabled Londoners about the issues they face when travelling in the capital and situations in which they have faced difficulties using public transport.
Guests will also be asked about some of the good transport experiences they have had, and how Transport for London (TfL) engages with and learns from Deaf and Disabled people in the transport planning process.
The roundtable discussions are being held in conjunction with Inclusion London as part of the Committee’s ongoing investigation into Accessibility and Inclusion in Transport Planning.
