Green Index Score

The Green Index Score measures access to green space.

Net zero

Net zero means that the amount of harmful emissions we add to the atmosphere should be equal to or less than what we take out.

waterways

When we talk about waterways, we are referring to the network of rivers, canals, docks, reservoirs and lakes that wind through London.

Natural spaces

By green and natural spaces, we mean areas that provide habitat for wildlife as well as space for people. This is not only parks, but spaces like trees, road verges and gardens.
