Can the Mayor of London please explain as to why he has blanketed all of London by raising the alert level to high?. Some areas of London (Bromley/BEXLEY) have the lowest infection rates in the UK.

I am a londoner I have children with disabilities I want to know how is it that my borough and the mayor seems to side step and ignore people with disabilities especially Autism .

These are real people not numbers or cases that fit into certain boxes .

I have struggled for many years with no support and the support that is there is not in every borough .

Under the EU legislation I could of taken my borough and the mayor of London to court . I asked for help from both paid bodies and got no real help or response .

Why is it you think you can sideline anybody with disabilities and they need to be serious cases to gain any help if not for the disabled that we care for but the carers themselves.

There is a so called carers assessment that is too hard to get and this is another law and policy that looks good on paper but doesn't work what do you say to that how are you going to help carers and their disabled young people when you are leaving them out if society and community not able to access a right to life and existence.

I’ve lived in London for more than 5 years, and still the water is the worst of all the places I’ve been to. I do not think Thames Water is doing enough to produce good quality water, thus I always require to pay for filters every year. Hair and skin suffer the most visible changes, however drinking it is a recipe for sickness, as it literally tastes like the sewer and I become sick every time I must drink it. Same for friends and family.

What is most irritating is that I am paying for the water that is supposedly filtered, but most be filtered again at home. This is surely not fair.
Is there something planned to tackle this issue? Either have more companies competing in this area, so that customer at least has a choice, or make paying for potable water optional. I prefer to have dirty water and filter myself at this point to be honest.

My question refers to Canada Water Masterplan and covers the issue of selling flats of British Land PLC promoting the luxury flats with a "fish bowl" leisure centre which can't hold a candle to the present one piling all on to the rich people's flats, segregating the poor contrary to the London Plan. Giving BL a contract for up to 35 million pounds and the costs of demolition of our better leisure centre on a better site and all the green house gasses this is going to generate when refurbishing Seven Islands Sports Centre we get to keep a better more expensive Multi Sports swimming pool for only £8 million KEEPING unique sport venues according to the London Plan.
We can install a movable bulkhead for only £160,000 and give the area 6 lane 25 meter pool when needed WITH a viewing gallery for competitions (would be same as 2016 Castle Sport Centre and the best competition pool in Southwark and we would keep the ONLY more expansive deep water pool in Southwark).
We could build on Seven Islands more floors at leisure (they have put a porta-cabin there already to prove this)

No railway tunnels under the DONATED SITE  of Seven Islands, donation which the Council doesn't want to recognize.

Finally the residents chose Seven Islands and the Council had to cook the books to force a contract for British Land by not giving us the choice of Seven Islands and providing ONLY 3 SITES WHICH HAD TO GIVE BRITISH LAND THEIR CONTRACT!!

Mr Khan approved this without giving the residents a right to object at Town Hall level! The Council and its partner British Land PLC SELF APPROVED THEIR PROJECT AND THEIR CONTRACT!!

WHY MR. KHAN?

Constantly reducing roadway making pollution and movement of traffic difficult making firms go out of business. Constantly reducing everything we have always taken for granted. Then spending vast amounts on pet projects.

For Better mental  health  and wellbeing of Londoners , we really want London Mayor will take serious steps to make NHS realise, that they actually need proper professional speaking /communication trainings with patients , Specially for front line people , including security guards, Receptionist and Emergency doctors ,As there are lot of cases when NHS staff don't see nay bleeding or physical  problems they become judgmental & unprofessional, including rude  & ignorant behaviors , which effects really bad impact for those who suffering from Depression , including suicidal thoughts , & PTSD .  Even complaints process in PALS  NHS doesn't make any difference at all, and they take it with their famous tag like (even when its not the case ) that NHS workers have a right to work without any fear of violence and abuse, And we strongly believe ,so they should do the same for  patients  as we also deserve the same.

1)So my question is to Mayor of LONDON , would he discuss & promote to  NHS senior leaders that   professional speaking /communication trainings for front line staff should be essential for better health & well being specially when  dealing with patients who suffer mental health issus ?

2) I want Mayor of London to promote a campaign on behalf of people suffering serious mental health issus and  tag line should be (  I am patient please talk Nice & humbly) when ever we visit NHS we want a Blue badge to wear , so NHS staff would know that they need to be extra careful in their communication & no questions should be asked related to depression , so would he introduce and promote this campaign for better mental health ?

Families with young children now have to pay for transport for their children. We've also learnt that free school meals will not be provided over the holidays for children who received them. From my understanding, the Universal Credit increases will not cover the difference. Do you, as a Mayor of the city, have any plans/strategies to help alleviate some of the financial strain off of these families?

The different London Boroughs seem to have different approaches to caring for residents during the pandemic .I am an elderly person very much out of touch with other people . My borough makes no attempt to contact me by phone or other means , but an elderly person in a borough on the north side of the river has regular phone calls from her borough asking her how she is and what can they do to help . It seems to me that if all London is lumped together on coronavirus regulations the treatment of frail and vulnerable people should be consistant and life enhancing for them .

Hi,

I am a key worker who works in a client-facing role in the community. During the lock down one of the many challenges my colleagues and I had to face was the luck of public toilets, due to all the coffee shops being closed down for the pandemic.

I would like to ask to please deal with this issue, which in my view should be considered an additional public health issue in case another lock down will be put in place again this winter.

Many thanks,

Maria Loria

I would like to know if you will consider the new scheme introduced by Andrew Cuomo in New York for the public to contact trace. COVID Alert NY, an exposure notification app will alert you if you were in contact with someone who tests positive for COVID. Contact tracing has been instrumental to stopping the spread of the virus thus far and this app is a technology-based solution to stopping the spread. Thanks. Marjorie

Will you reconsider reducing the congestion charge and it going back to five days a week.     Restaurants and shops have been adversely affected by the charge continuing beyond 6.0 pm and it applying to the weekend.

As all the questions related to arts and culture are strangely closed already, i have to ask here. Considering 4 out of 5 Londoners are here for arts/cultural events how do you justify extinguishing the gig economy with your destructive lockdown restrictions? Are you aware that you are removing all the things that move us to feel alive and human? And are you aware of the destruction to our lives this void will create? Are you taking responsibility for the increased misery, suicides, unemployment, homelessness, abuse, crime etc that these policies are causing? Considering there is no scientific or medical reasons for further restrictions, now even the WHO admit the lockdowns only cause poverty, please explain why you are determined to ruin London in this way, and all the knock on effects to the rest of the country and globe?

Dear Mayor,

during the first lockdown in March, many households struggled with food security. For instance, food vouchers were not distributed to everyone who was entitled. Many charities, including not only food banks but also religion charities, stepped-up to feed the most vulnerable individuals in our society. Now, we are facing another lockdown and I would like to know what is the government strategy to make sure that this time no one is left behind.
