Celebrate English heritage instead of demonising it and wanting English people to be ashamed of being English. For me London is no longer English or home. I've lived in 4 other countries all of which were rightly proud of their heritage. Why can't we have that without being abused?  It is English culture which created a country which affords others safety and tolerance.

    Hi triciamf

Thank you for sharing your views.

Did you know that City Hall already has an event on Trafalgar Square to mark St George’s Day? This year, over 20,000 people gathered to celebrate all things England. There were markets, food, music, live performance and much more. Next year’s event is happening on Sunday 23 April 2023, and you can find out more about it on the City Hall website.
