- "Asian, or Asian British" ethnic groups 9.6% (5.4 million)
- "Black, Black British, Caribbean or African" 4.2% (2.4 million)
- "Mixed or Multiple ethnic groups" 3.0% (1.7 million)
- "Other ethnic groups" 2.2% (1.2 million)
Why do we need to celebrate only Black culture and creativity in London?
Why are you so interested in excluding people in London an in UK in general?
This is racism

London’s Black communities have a huge impact on all aspects of life in our capital, but too often the breadth of their cultural and creative contributions have been overlooked and undervalued. This new event will be an opportunity for Londoners and visitors to the capital to join together in celebration and to enjoy performances from a wide range of talented Black artists.
The event will add to the variety of events that City Hall already organises for Londoners in celebration of the capital’s diversity, including Diwali, St George’s Day, Eid, St Patrick’s Day, Chanukah, Pride, Lunar New Year and Vaisakhi, amongst many others. Show full commentMany communities in London have made significant cultural and creative contributions to the city, yet their efforts have gone largely overlooked and undervalued. The black communities are constantly represented in London with places that offer only programs created by and for these communities.
This leaves out many other minority groups in London that are completely inexistent, and it seems as though there are exclusive initiatives and events solely dedicated to promoting the black communities.
This is a form of racism and it is unfair.
Other users and commenters share this sentiment and are tired of the underrepresentation of other minority groups and the overrepresentation of only certain type of communities. You need to take action to ensure that all communities in London are given equal opportunities to showcase their contributions and have access to the resources they need. You should create a more inclusive and equitable environment for everyone in our city and stop creating exclusivity.

I found those figures on Google, and it's likely that they refer to England's figures rather than London's. However, according to the 2021 Census data for England and Wales, the breakdown of ethnic groups and their percentages in London are as follows: White British - 36.8%, Other White - 17.0%, Asian - 20.7%, Black - 13.5%, Mixed - 5.7%, Other - 6.3%.
