LTN

Have properly run, democratic neighbourhood referendums on whether to have an LTN.
They need to be conducted by independent bodies, with the true facts and surveys placed before people, using non-pandemic figures.
The referendums to be binding on Local Authorities.

There is already more than enough evidence that LTNs are opposed by an overwhelming majority of people across London. There have already been cases of ambulances delayed, leading to deaths, and severe health complications. LTNs make no sense - they cause more pollution, displace traffic onto other roads, increase journey times, cause gridlocks, isolate residents as friends, relatives, carers, workers etc are required to pay to visit residents etc.

LTNs must be scrapped forthwith.

Residents LOVE LTNs. The laboured argument of emergency vehicle access needs to be taken into context, similarly the knee-jerk reaction of the motorist who cannot grasp the benefits to the wider community of clean air. Residents are isolated from friends? That's quite dramatic. Probably the overarching issue here are the friends and not the LTNs. I had a car for twenty years, and then haven't had one the last ten years - I promise you life remains possible without a car.
