Pilot Schemes to develop 'The Way Forward'

Following the horrific case of the Crossbow Cannibal it is clear that more needs to be done to protect sex workers. Would the mayor support piloting the 'ugly mugs' scheme and/or labelling crimes against sex workers as hate crime (as has been successfully done by Merseyside police whereby the conviction rate for rape against sex workers has massively increased to 67% while the national average conviction rate for rape is just 6.5%) to make the life of a sex workers safer?
