Many buses and coaches in continental Europe and the USA's largest cities place cycle racks on the front or back of the bus. Can you please explain why you didn't consider this obvious solution in your answer to my question 3343/2011 about temporary replacement buses for rail services?

The Cycle Safety Action Plan End of Year Review 2011 states that TfL would work with the London Criminal Justice Board to review cyclist collisions with a view to strengthening criminal justice arrangements for dealing with such cases, and would produce a report and recommendations by summer 2011. What progress has been made on this project, what issues have been identified and what recommendations, if any, have been made?
