YouGov research shows that 80% of Londoners think it’s important that there’s an increased sense of unity amongst people in London, and 75% felt it was important the Mayor promotes this.
The Loved & Wanted campaign was developed to ensure that all of London’s communities, those who have lived in London their whole lives, as well as those who have chosen to make the city their home, feel valued and wanted in the city.
The video cost £3,000.00 to produce, which included the licencing of London-based poet Kareem Parkins-Brown’s poem and all production costs. So far, this unifying message has organically generated 3.5 million impressions, and over 2,000 shares on Instagram alone, with overwhelmingly positive sentiment from Londoners.
