Our vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. These conditions cause heartbreak for millions of families, killing 1 in 4 people. We want to change that.

As the nation's heart charity, we advocate for and with people affected by heart and circulatory diseases. We develop innovative ways of meeting their needs by listening carefully, working together and thinking big.

How we deliver these aims
The British Heart Foundation raises money to help fund research into heart and circulatory disease. We fund over £100 million of research each year into these diseases and the things that cause them. We also develop evidence based policy to work with an influence decision makers to ensure the political and regulatory climate is favourable for our research and patients with heart and circulatory conditions across the UK.
Who benefits from our work
Those who suffer from heart and circulatory disease, their friends, their families, those with risk factors or anyone who could develop these diseases.
