What will I be doing?

  • Supporting enquiry-based learning and discovery and supporting visitors to learn through carefully touching real museum objects on the touch tables within the galleries.
  • Encouraging visitors to be gentle and respectful to the Living Collections and providing live interpretation in the nature base and the butterfly house.
  • Helping to ensure a positive visitor experience by answering general questions about the museum and gardens, and directing visitors to further resources or staff where necessary.
  • Working across a number of different zones including but not limited to the butterfly house, the touch tables and the studio.
