Organisation aims / mission / values

  • To assist in the relief of distress and hardship suffered by young people, the elderly, the vulnerable, and other people with special needs in the London Borough of Camden (and adjoining areas).

  • To advance the education of young people and others in regard to canals in Camden and adjoining areas, their history, their uses and their environment.

  • Provide one or more narrowboats for the benefit of people living or working in the London Borough of Camden (and adjoining areas)
  • Further, we have a special responsibility for preserving and maintaining the historic narrowboat, TARPORLEY.

How we deliver these aims

We run historic narrowboat trips on the Regent's Canal and nearby waterways for the benefit of the community. Private trips provide most of our funding and enable us to run free trips for appropriate groups and organisations without funds

Who benefits from our work

Disadvantaged people of all ages gain access to another side of London and enjoy a relaxing canal trip.
