To me having a space where the next gen will gather together to have fun praying and listen to someone who will encourage them how to leave a better life love one another and share whatever God has blessed them with less privileged friends will be great.

Would be great to have Artist Spaces, also Community Spaces. I seem to remember an Art Class also have Board Games for those who wish and/or don't have much Art talent. What about spare spaces in Council Buildings. In Croydon it was called Community Space, then had restrictions on who would come in - Not really a Community Space in that case!

This would be the perfect way to reinvigorate London as a cultural hub. Empty shops could be used for community arts workshops - engaging the public in conversations about creativity and culture. These could be alternative social spaces that are welcoming and inclusive to all and foster a sense of community and support

Also make empty retail spaces available to designers and to digital start ups. These creatives also need cheap space to start a business, as well as artists studios. There are some long standing institutions in this field who could be consulted on how best to manage workspace in terms of low rent levels and services to tenants - e.g. Space Studios (artists), Craft Central and Cockpit Arts (designers) and Ravensbourne University (digital start ups).

I think this could be extended to short life artist studios. Non commercial artists are being squeezed out of London, but add immeasurably to it's creative profile, providing, layered interest around looking, texturing, layering in access and education. London is still depicted as a creative hub, but many of the creatives now have to be successful businesses to be able to rent space.

I fully agree, and would combine this with some of the other ideas posted, we need a flexible and creative use of space across the city to: capitalise on our renewed desire for shared, accessible and pleasant outdoor spaces; encourage the creative use of spaces which have recently become empty due to the economic impact of Covid; and respond to changing patterns of live, work and travel due to increased home/flexible working. Councils should prioritise investments in public realm and outdoor social spaces, encourage active travel and prioritise pedestrians and cyclists over cars and introduce incentives and flexibilities to prioritise the use of spaces by local indepedendent businesses and groups.
