More bins and bin collections in London's green spaces, and more cameras, enforcements and fines for people who litter and fly tip. More signage to encourage behavioural changes in those who litter without shame.

Plus one for littering fines. In my area an foi request showed that of 334 fines in Waltham Forest only 3.6% were issued in Chingford. I am fed up seeing the work of local volunteers planting flowers and trees being ruined by inconsiderate...

Plus one for littering fines. In my area an foi request showed that of 334 fines in Waltham Forest only 3.6% were issued in Chingford. I am fed up seeing the work of local volunteers planting flowers and trees being ruined by inconsiderate morons dumping litter everywhere with apparent immunity from any consequences.

I have to second that comment, at least the part about enforcement. I am sick to death of the unsocial behaviour of some people. Why can't we set a standard of responsibility and shame those that disrespect our city? Not only litter but dog...

Why can't we set a standard of responsibility and shame those that disrespect our city? Not only litter but dog poo! It is such an embarrassment whenever I have visitors from abroad.
