Show full commentCommunity ownership of spaces is a great idea. Local people can contribute to litter picking, decoration, planting, food sharing (if growing vegetables). It means no one person has to do too much, and encourages local people to invest time and resources in their local environment. Every London council should review its decrepit or unloved spaces (parks, road sides, alleyways) and invite community management of them.
