Black Local Artist

My idea is to have a celebration of all Black artist no matter what experience to submit their artwork of all multimedia and have the opportunity to showcase their paintings to sell.Brixton house gallery joined up with Harlem during Aigust 2022 Jamaican Independence Day weekend showcasing artwork of locals. Its brilliant opportunity to support the local Black artist who otherwise are underrepresented in local shop galleries or art galleries, especially for new beginners.During Covid 2020 many british black artist emerged showcasing their work on social media.it be a great opportunity for these type of artist to be in the heart of London selling their work.I myself was chosen by Brixton house to show my artwork.A panel looked at all entries and My work was chosen.

I am pleased my idea was voted up.This is truly amazing for me,especially when I had a little  doubt creep in that out of so many ideas, mine might not get noticed but I still decided to share my thoughts and idea.Is there anyone who has any thoughts about what I've suggest any ideas to expand on.I based mine on something that  actually happened in Lambeth borough last year in August. The experience allowed  me to do something an artist like me could only ever dream about, but it became my reality in my lifetime which was very emotional and I was able to share that experience with my friends and  family at a private viewing before the public could view mine and other artist artwork over the weekend.

I think London,Southbank should recreate this on a larger scale for Black Artist/creatives to celebrate our creativity that the world needs to see when they visit London and inspire Black Londoners...
