Hi teadogg

Thank you for sharing your views.

London’s Black communities have a huge impact on all aspects of life in our capital, but too often the breadth of their cultural and creative contributions have been overlooked and undervalued. This new event will be an opportunity for Londoners and visitors to the capital to join together in celebration and to enjoy performances from a wide range of talented Black artists.

Did you know that City Hall already has an event on Trafalgar Square to mark St George’s Day? This year, over 20,000 people gathered to celebrate all things England. There were markets, food, music, live performance and much more. This year’s event is happening on Sunday 23 April 2023, and you can find out more about it on the City Hall website.

English culture is celebrated every day. No need to be so fragile.
