Community Member 7 years agoMaybe we all signed up together and join force to a better deal. So, if all of say 10,000 users decided to switch then we could get a better deal collectively.

Community Member 7 years agoThe Mayor / government / councils / TFL should aggregate their energy use and require that it is fulfilled with renewable energy.

Community Member 7 years agoThere are so many comparison sites that I’d feel like I have to try each one, defeating the point of them. The survey suggests a non profit London energy company, I think this would be a brilliant idea if it is run like TfL as it would...

The survey suggests a non profit London energy company, I think this would be a brilliant idea if it is run like TfL as it would provide real competition to the big six who usually raise their prices together, collectively acting as a monopoly.
Also the tariffs need to be simplified. There should only be one tariff per company. There is no need for different tariffs as there is only one kind of electricity, not only do you have to choose company but understand the tariffs provided by each one. It’s just electricity, there’s no “premium electricity” or anything so it should just be simple.

Community Member 7 years agoThere are lots of comparison sites for switching to save money, but too little information about ethics and green options. Ecotricity and Good Energy seem to be the only green producers/suppliers. There are more green suppliers available...

Ecotricity and Good Energy seem to be the only green producers/suppliers. There are more green suppliers available too. I switched when I found out BG where the biggest investors in fracking.
