This Skills Bootcamp equips you with the practical knowledge and technical skills needed to work in the fast-growing retrofit and energy efficiency sector. You’ll learn how to carry out energy assessments, understand retrofit measures, and apply sustainable solutions that improve building performance. You will also learn Health and Safety level 1 (allowing you to apply for CSCS card). The course is designed to help you progress into employment or further training within the green construction and energy industries.

Skills Bootcamps in Health and Social Care are intensive, short-term training programmes that provide learners with sector-specific skills aligned to employer demand. They are co-designed with employers to ensure relevance and quality, and they offer a pathway into roles such as care assistants, support workers, and other frontline positions. Upon completion, participants are guaranteed a job interview, helping to bridge the gap between training and employment.

This Bootcamp is designed for adults from under-represented backgrounds in the screen industry who have already completed some technical training in TV and Film production (Level 3 to graduate level), but have struggled to secure their first industry roles. Ideal candidates may currently be working outside the sector and need support to transition into the screen industry.

You will be offered an interview with an employer once you complete your course. If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits.

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:
- are aged 19 or over
- have the right to work in the UK
- live in East London
- meet residency requirements (we can check this)
- not currently in full-time education
