Skills Bootcamps: Information for employers and businesses

Skills Bootcamps for Londoners are developed in collaboration with employers across London to ensure training reflects real business needs, and equip graduates with the practical knowledge and industry awareness needed to contribute effectively from day one. 

Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s Skills for Life programme, funded by the UK Government and supported by the Mayor of London. Each course is co-designed by employers to help you use the skills you've gained to progress in your career. Employability support (including support with getting interviews) is built into every Skills Bootcamp for Londoners.

Skills Bootcamps are developed in collaboration with employers across London to ensure training reflects real business needs, and equip graduates with the practical knowledge and industry awareness needed to contribute effectively from day one. There are two funding models: co-funded and fully funded.

Co-funded model: Up to 90% of the cost covered by City Hall

Co-funded bootcamps help develop your existing staff, and can be tailored to the specific needs of employers, including the content and delivery method.  

For co-funded bootcamps, City Hall covers 90% of the training cost for small and medium-sized enterprises, and 70% of the cost for larger employers. See more about Skills Bootcamps for Londoners funding.

Skills Bootcamps offer Londoners intensive training courses that provide them with in-demand sector-specific skills. Every Skills Bootcamp has been co-designed with employers to ensure participants graduate with practical, up-to-date skills and a strong understanding of your industry’s expectations.
