DASAHP has been developed to bring together capital and revenue funding to increase safe accommodation provision for domestic abuse survivors and their children in London. Capital funding of up to £8.5m from the Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021-26 has been paired with up to £1.1m revenue funding from the Part 4 duty under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. This will enable the delivery of new and improved safe accommodation, with associated specialist support services, to improve outcomes for survivors in London

The Mayor has launched a grants fund for led ‘by and for’ providers to deliver much-needed services to victims/survivors of domestic abuse across London.

the Greater London Authority (GLA) has been actively involved in addressing rough sleeping through various funding programmes, including the Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme (RSAP) for 2020-21. This initiative aims to provide longer-term accommodation and support for individuals transitioning from rough sleeping to independent living

total allocation for 2020-21: £76.5 million (£49.3 million capital and £27.2 million revenue) to deliver around 900 homes and provide up to four years of support to residents.||Subsequent funding (2021-24): an additional £66.4 million (£48.4 million capital and £18 million revenue) allocated to deliver 740 homes, with a focus on schemes completing by 31 March 2022.

the Mayor has secured London’s share of the national Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) funding to deliver much-needed homes, with support, for people sleeping rough who have a long history of rough sleeping or complex needs; and for young people (aged 18-25) at risk of or experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping. The programme aims to increase the supply of good-quality, specialist supported accommodation and housing-led approaches. This new programme will assist the Mayor to meet the commitments outlined in his Housing Strategy to meet London’s diverse housing needs, and support people sleeping rough to come off the streets

£270.6m (£175.4m of capital and £95.2m of revenue) is being made available for SHAP to deliver homes during 2023-25, and for three years of associated support, up to March 2028.
