Financial hardship
According to YouGov polling, around half of Londoners are either financially struggling or just about managing. Financial hardship can impact people’s standard of living, physical and mental health, educational and career prospects, and more.
We are working to deliver programmes which tackle the impacts and root causes of financial hardship in London.
What we are focusing on
Our financial hardship work and programmes mainly focus on two areas:
- Income maximisation, to increase the incomes of low income Londoners.
- Emergency food provision, to ensure that Londoners in crisis are able to access food.
