Strings of Identity
Description:
This artwork represents the struggle of individuality in a world dominated by digital influence and societal expectations. The marionette-like strings connect a raw, beating heart—symbolizing true self and emotions—to a set of colourful masks, each representing a different persona shaped by external forces. Above, the explosion of fingers marked with social media icons and symbols suggests how technology and society manipulate identity, forcing people to wear façades rather than embracing authenticity.

Silent Prayer
Description:
This artwork shows a sorrowful, veiled figure with hollow eyes, saying "Amen." It represents grief, faith, and silent strength. The rough lines add to the heavy, emotional feel, making us think about pain, belief, and unspoken prayers. Its an invitation to reflect on loss and resilience in difficult times.

Cracked World
Description:
This artwork shows the Earth splitting open, revealing a mix of nature, cities, and human life inside, while dark smoke rises from the top. It represents the balance between the beauty of our world and the damage caused by pollution and climate change. The bright, colourful symbols inside remind us of what we love and need to protect, while the smoke warns of the harm we are doing. It’s a call to care for our planet before it breaks apart.

The Lion & The Lamb
Description:
Fourth Plinth Design
On my fourth plinth, I have designed a lamb standing on top of a lion. This would be preferably made out of stone and would be similar dimensions to the three other lions in Trafalger Square. This is a representation of one of the many images and symbols in Christianity about Jesus being the ‘Lion and the Lamb’. As England is a predominantly Christian country, I believe that this would be a good reminder for London and England about our heritage and roots as a country. I have intentionally made this sculpture quite similar to the rest of the Lions as it emphasises the effect that one small extra component has on anything in this case the lamb and in a Christian perspective, Jesus.

Woman, life, freedom
Description:
Being a Persian girl in London means taking on a dual identity- one rooted in a rich, ancient culture and another shaped by a modern city of diversity. Everyday, I carry the weight of my heritage: the poetry of Hafez, the resilience of Persian women, and the loud echoes of Zan, Zendegi, Azadi – Women, Life, Freedom. London offers the opportunities my homeland denies its daughters, yet my heart remains tethered to Iran’s fight for justice. I am both an insider, and an outsider, weaving Farsi into English, tradition into rebellion, longing into hope. My identity is neither there nor here – it’s both.
