Cyanoskin

Cyanoskin is a carbon-capture technology. It uses an algae-based coating to transform buildings into carbon dioxide-absorbing structures, reducing emissions and addressing urban pollution.

Read about Cyanoskin’s innovation journey and getting support from Imperial College Advanced Hackspace – a Better Future Delivery Partner.

The Imperial College advanced hackspace team has been absolutely wonderful! We've been lucky enough to have been provided a sponsorship for the last six months of the work carried out there.

It took us from our at-home/kitchen experiments through to replicating existing paint properties of a paint liquid that sets and solidifies when applied as a thin coat. We worked with living organisms and non-conventional natural ingredients and were able to prove the repeats of growth over time and carbon absorption of our living coaching solution!
