With the government stating in their recent Annual Fuel Poverty Statistics report that fuel poverty is projected to rise this year, how will the Mayor be helping Londoners with their energy bills this winter?

The Mayor stated in MQ2014-3908, that in relation to the number of London households with children currently struggling to pay energy bills "household composition of fuel poor homes is not available at a regional level". With fuel poverty projected to increase this year, will the Mayor therefore commission, as a matter of priority, a study to determine how many London children are living in fuel poor homes?

Further to your response to question 2014-4485, do you know how housing associations which are in receipt of grants from you actually spend their surpluses? Can you provide a list of the heads of expenditure, for example what percentage of surpluses are used to fund further development, regeneration, maintenance programmes and staff remuneration?
