In MQ 2021/5035 you said “As part of my submission to the Spending Review, I called on Government to provide the funding required [£3 million per year] to enable London Fire Brigade to deal with the ongoing challenges within the built environment and support changes when the Building Safety Bill becomes law. LFB has yet to receive the full details of the Spending Review and expects to receive more detailed information on its funding allocation before the end of the calendar year.” Does the funding allocation for 2023/24 contain an extra £3 million from the Government?

Transformation and CRMP Reserve

The LFB’s Reserve Strategy says “Transformation and CRMP Reserve - Throughout the delivery of the CRMP, there is the potential for unbudgeted risks to occur as the specifics of each project are better understood. Therefore, the indicative profiled use of these reserves (Annex A) throughout the MTFS are expected, resulting in a nil balance on both of these reserves by the end of the 2025/26 budget period”. How will the LFB seek to deal with unbudgeted risks from 2026/27 onwards, given the balance of the Transformation and CRMP Reserves will be nil?
