Given the difficulties which some elderly Dial-a-Ride users have with the app, it is not uncommon for them to ask a relative to put the app on their phone and then book an appointment on their behalf. However, If the relative has Google Locate switched on then the app gets ‘confused’ as to why the relative is not at the Dial-a-Ride user’s house.
