    Mick Lynch, general secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT), has commented on the more than 5,000 licenced station staff shifts that were covered by ‘ambassador’ office staff between 1 October 2022 and 29 October 2023, saying: “Rather than continuing to cut staff, we need at least 500 new jobs to ensure adequate staffing and enhanced safety across the Tube network.” What assessment has Transport for London (TfL) made of any safety risk associated with this practice?

    The Transport for London (TfL) toilet map shows Elephant & Castle tube station as having “male/female/baby changing facilities outside the ticket gateline”. However, a constituent recently tried to access them and couldn’t find them, so asked station staff who told them the toilets don’t exist. Could you tell me: a) how often the TfL toilet map is updated, and b) whether other facilities are incorrectly marked on the map and if so, how many and in what location?
