    With Uber Drivers recently protesting about having to work an 18-19 hour shift earning between £4-5 per hour, is it acceptable for a registered operator to employ drivers so low below the London Living Wage , on such long shift that they are a danger to themselves, customers and other users of the road?

    Uber is a company registered in Holland with a parent company registered in the Bahamas. Last year Uber paid £22K in corporation tax, equivalent to taxes paid by 4 licensed axis drivers. Is this an acceptable level of taxation for a registered operator with TfL?
