In question 1888/2005 you said it was not possible to provide stats showing the number of acts of violence on buses in Zone 1 because TfL do not break their stats down by Zone. • Traffic lights - Putney Bridge

    • Reference: 2005/2268
    • Question by: Angie Bray
    • Meeting date: 16 November 2005
The traffic in Fulham Palace Road from the Hammersmith direction towards Putney Bridge has been experiencing severe problems recently. A huge build-up of traffic has been occurring during periods well outside the normal "rush-hour" in the mornings and evenings. It would appear that the phasing of the traffic lights has been altered. Would the Mayor agree to have this matter investigated as a matter of urgency, and can he explain the reasoning behind the alteration of the phasing?

Is the Mayor as concerned as I am about the plans, apparently supported by the local authority, to allow an arm of Fulham Football Club to astroturf a 100 metre x 64 metre open green area of Bishops Park, which as you know is an extremely popular local green amenity in Fulham?
  • Business Operating Costs in London

    • Reference: 2005/1877
    • Question by: Angie Bray
    • Meeting date: 18 October 2005
Does the Mayor agree with comments by BMW's managing director in the UK, Jim O'Donnell, who stated that there was a "real danger" that the cost of operating in London would become "prohibitive" and that "by the time the Olympics come the independent retailer in London will cease to exist"?
