    Chase Farm and Barnet hospitals both turned women away last year because their maternity units were full. King George's Maternity unit in Redbridge closed in March 2013. The expectation is that people will now go to Queen's in neighbouring Havering. The Trust special administrator has reduced maternity services in Croydon by downgrading obstetric led unit to a midwife led unit. The Whittington Hospital has announced it will put a cap on births in its maternity unit. The list goes on and on.
