a) Local conservation groups in Hackney have raised concerns about the environmental responsibilities of the Olympic Delivery Authority. Can you set out who will be responsible for delivering the environmental legacy and how much it is expected to cost? (b) Can you assure the people of Hackney that East Marsh will be restored to parkland after the Olympic Games? At the meeting of the IOC in Singapore in July, baseball and softball were dropped from the 2012 programme of sports. Is there any process available for nominating other sports that could be included in the 2012 Games, such as Twenty20 cricket, where the infrastructure is already in place?
