    As you know, relocating a business isn't as simple as just moving your fixtures and fittings. You need to obtain planning consent, waste consent, and often more specialised permits, as well as remedial work. Will the LDA be helping companies with this, for example in providing fast track planning assistance? (Mary Reilly/Tony Winterbottom)

    What are your plans for upgrading the North London Line by 2012 so that people living in Richmond, Brent, Camden, Islington and Hackney can easily reach Stratford ? How many trains per hour will reach Stratford if we subtract trains coming from Beckton, Upminster and Shenfield?

    At the time when the IOC were in London, three organizations published reviews of the LDA's approach to the bid, the results of which were favourable to the LDA and were subsequently used by Lord Coe to deflect criticism of the bid. The three organisations were Gateway to London, which is part funded by the LDA, the East London Business Alliance, which has received a £30,000 grant from the LDA, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, which last year organised a trip to Beijing to 'advance and strengthen' the London bid, which included representatives from the LDA.
