In fact, the figures were very damning and not acceptable in any situation. Research by my office has discovered that 8.4 million journeys were taken last year by those with nominee passes. This amounts to £22.2m every year in lost fare revenues. Do you think that this is flagrant waste of taxpayers' money in a time of such fiscal constraint?
