Question
Enforcement of Minimum Wage
What is the Mayor doing to ensure there is enforcement of the Minimum Wage in London?
Answer
Date: Sunday 21 October 2012
Employers must comply as a matter of law with minimum wage legislation, but enforcement is primarily a matter for other agencies, not the Mayor of London. Meanwhile I also encourage all employers to adopt the London Living Wage.
