Does the GLA know what it's funding at Film London?

The Greater London Authority (GLA) has provided funding to Film London since 2010. The latest round of funding was approved by the Mayor in March 2022, with £4,371k (£1,457k per annum) awarded to Film London for the period from April 2022 to March 2025.

The purpose of this funding is to support creative businesses across film, TV and visual effects, deliver new inward investment and employment opportunities and to ensure that Film London delivers against its Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. Release of funding to Film London is contingent on the achievement of Milestones set out in a signed grant agreement.

On Monday, the London Assembly Audit Panel will review the GLA funding and the checks and balances in place, it will also discuss the GLA Procurement Shared Services and Treasury Management.

The guests are:

  • Dianne Tranmer, Executive Director, Corporate Resources & Business Improvement, GLA
  • Mark Woodley, Group Audit Lead, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime
  • Fay Hammond, Chief Finance Officer, GLA
  • Natasha Graham, Senior Policy Officer, Diversity, GLA
  • Nigel Mascarenhas, Deputy Director, Treasury & Shared Service Delivery, London Treasury LTD
  • David Esling, Head of Audit and Assurance, MOPAC

The meeting will take place on Monday, 15 December 2025 from 2pm, in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube.
