How we deliver these aims

Our organisation provides a range of high quality services, advice and training: Staff and trained volunteers offer friendship and practical help with daily living tasks through our Home Support and Advocacy Service. A wide range of specialised equipment is on display for visually impaired (V.I.) people in our Resource Centre & Mobile Advice Unit. We are agents for British Wireless for the Blind Fund and supply digital pre-set radios and radio/cassette/CD players for V.I. people. Our highly experienced tutors provide Computer and I.T. Training using the most up to date technology. We provide Braille tuition for all levels of ability. Our Employment service gives advice and support for V.I. people wanting to get back into employment. Our Hospital Information Services provide information and advice for patients and carers attending the eye clinics at several different hospitals across the boroughs we serve. All our activities are dependent upon donations and contributions
