Culture, heritage and events | Arts | Drama | Film | London events | Music

Organisation aims / mission / values

  • CASA is a festival, we commission and we create.
  • CASA is an arts organisation whose central goal is to facilitate cultural exchanges between Latin America and the U.K., showcasing progressive, unique work.
  • By programming a diverse spectrum of work made by artists based in Latin America, as well as artists of Latin American heritage based in the U.K., the CASA stage sheds light on theatre, dance, music and films that might otherwise be left unseen by U.K. audiences.
  • Founded in 2007 by Daniel Goldman, CASA has presented nine festivals, supporting hundreds of productions by Latinx writers, directors and performers.
  • The 10th edition of CASA will be the first festival under the creative leadership of Artistic Director Cordelia Grierson, expanding CASA’s focus from theatre to multi-disciplinary arts.
  • Under this new direction, CASA 2019 will be an exciting programme of Latin American art, dance, film, music and theatre at the Rio Cinema, Dalston Curve Garden and the Arcola Theatre from the 16th - 27th of July.
