Improving outcomes for all pupils.
What problems were in your school and how did you identify them?
*Low starting points, identified during baseline assessments
*Pupils and their families had limited life experiences
* Pupils were living in poor housing, identified during home visits.
What actions did you take?
*Careful tracking of pupils' attainment and progress across the school, and regular opportunities planned in for staff to meet and discuss actions to increase attainment of all. *Development of a curriculum which provides pupils with a range of experiences that they would not otherwise have, such as theatre visits, residential activities and a wide range of educational visits to support learning.
*Developed positive links with parents, including providing workshops with ideas on how they can best support their child at home.
*Established a pastoral team to work with families, including those experiencing poverty, housing difficulties or other issues.
What were the outcomes?
