As part of the process of introducing job families, I understand TfL now effectively has 127 pay bands. The upper and lower boundaries of these pay bands, and therefore what staff can expect to be paid, have not been shared with staff or unions, apparently as they are linked to “commercially sensitive data” provided by Willis Tower Watson, a consultancy firm. Are you comfortable with this lack of transparency within TfL’s pay systems?
