The number of Metropolitan Police Volunteers over the last three years is as follows:

September 2015 - 1061

September 2014 - 1255

September 2013 - 1060

Comparable information is not available for earlier years due to the migration of data to new IT systems in 2013.

Note that these figures do not include the Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC) or the Metropolitan Special Constabulary (MSC).

Interrogation of data to provide information on individual units and boroughs will require considerable resources and is not available at this time.
